The MBTA Better Bus Project has come up with 47 proposals to update and modernize existing bus routes in Boston. They are now looking for feedback from riders before they take the proposed changes to their board in April 2019, in the hopes that these changes can go into effect Fall 2019.

Relating to Charlestown, there are proposed route changes on both the 92 and 93 bus. Below is a brief summary of each proposal:

Route 92 – Provide more frequent and reliable Route 92 service between Haymarket and Sullivan Square by removing Route 92 service to Assembly Square (transfer is available via Orange Line)

Route 93 – Provide faster service between Haymarket and Sullivan Square by removing service around the Navy Yard
