On October 3, 2018, the museum is proud to welcome a leader whose bold strategic vision shaped the course of history at sea and around the world: John F. Lehman, former United States Secretary of the Navy from 1981 to 1987. Serving under President Ronald Reagan, Secretary Lehman was a driving force in the resurgence of American naval dominance at the height of the Cold War.
